  • Overview

    Our Accreditation and Operational Compliance Specialist will have knowledge and expertise in data collection and evaluation.  They are responsible for providing evaluation, and education on CCS/CCRS policies, procedures and programs to ensure compliance with contract requirements and national standards.  Additionally, the AOC Specialist will play an active role in the development and monitoring of action plans resulting from AOC reviews.  The AOC will provide these services to CCS regional and site leadership as well as CCS clients, as required. 

     

    Our AOC Specialist will facilitate and manage accreditation and department reports and statistics.

    Qualifications

    Education:

    • Bachelor's Degree required.

    Experience:

    • Experience and familiarity with national accreditation, programmatic accreditation, and state licensure.
    • Strong problem solving and project management experience.
    • Excellent written and oral communication and organizational skills.
    • Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel with ability to learn and apply additional software.

    Responsibilities

    1. Understand, demonstrate and promote the principles of CCS’s mission and values.
    2. Interfaces with various subject-matter experts to develop tools for accreditation and compliance.
    3. Develop and implement strategies to meet accreditation standards and activities applicable to CCS/CCRS programs in accordance with the national, federal, state and local regulations.
    4. Responsible for performing audits and system reviews of accredited and non-accredited sites to ensure site adheres to required national, federal, state and local regulations and CCS/CCRS policy and procedures.
    5. Coordinate training on accreditation issues and compliance with applicable departments, and home office staff.
    6. Oversee and direct accreditations and other related documents for the necessary approvals for start-up activities, annual renewals, new compliance programs, and reaffirmations.
    7. Review and edit appropriate tools and documents in accordance with national, federal, state and local regulations to ensure these tools remain up-to-date.
    8. Implements at the operational level, including—Tracks and maintains annual inspection schedules; ensures response deadlines are met; maintains binders; Tracks and maintains necessary ‘report requirement’ system; schedules and organizes training sessions; prepares documents; updates and maintains shared drive documents.
    9. Identify and report potential compliance issues or concerns in regards to national, federal, state and local regulations and assists sites with developing, implementing and monitoring action plans.
    10. Management of the Action Plan Process.
    11. Assists with the development and implementation of site specific policy and procedures as related to standards and contract compliance.
    12. Must be able to apply principles of critical thinking to a variety of practical and emergent situations and accurately follow standardized procedures that may call for deviations.
    13. Must be able to apply sound judgment beyond a specific set of instructions and apply knowledge to different factual situations.
    14. Must be alert at all times; pay close attention to details.
    15. Must be able to work under stress on a regular or continuous basis.
    16. Perform other duties as assigned.
